If you knew where I lived for the first 13 and a bit years of my life you might think this a very strange book to read. But having read Beyond Belief ....I thought I should read this. The book is non-fiction, and has been written with access to Myra Hindley's private papers.
I can't say much about the book as the subject matter upsets me, even after all these years...to know that they picked there victims around 10 miles away from where I lived, and may have been closer if they turned right in place of left when they left their estate.
After reading this account I am even more horrified at what they did, and am glad that Myra Hindley died behind bars, and that Ian Brady has requested that he does the same.
The To-Do list is a very funny book, which is actually non-fiction. "you can't make up stuff like that" people say, and it's true, real life is often stranger than fiction.
When I had finished reading, I was poised to write my own "To-Do List", as I am sure many readers will be, I haven't written it yet though, as I have had so much "to-do".
This is a book which I'm reading in spurts. Like tonight I'll be reading a bit because I finished 4th of July just a moment ago and have nothing new to start on. I will be going to the library tomorrow, but in the mean time, I need something to read, so this is it. It's actually a fascinating read and one I highly recommend to anyone who enjoys English history as it features loads of history about out of the way places in England.
